Video in Frontpage

Hello All,
I am trying to make my videos play inside my webpages, as opposed to playing on their own. For instance, I have always been able to establish hyperlinks that will play videos, but the videos appear in the middle of their own part frame. What I need instead to to see them play on my webpage. Any thoughts, please?

Convert them to flash and embed them.
There are many free programs that will do this for you.
Google video to flash converters

<embed src="yourfile.wmv" width="360" height="285" align="center" style="border: 2px solid #808080; ">
<noembed>Media Player is required.</noembed>
This line of code often works for various types of media files. Change the file name, size and borders to suit.

Except that won't work for folks that don't have a windows media player installed.

The .wmv was just an example. although my Mac friends seem to be able to view .wmv files with this tag so I suppose they wave a player for some reason. I believe the tag works for other media file types as well.
