I'm not really selling products but a handfull of packages for services. So there will only be about five packages to choose from and then purchase. I figured I could use paypal for this but I dont know now. When customers log into their accounts they will have and address book where they can enter family and friends addresses and then choose different types of catagories for each friend. So I think I would need a form for each entry. I want them to enter their names addresses birthdays anniversaries etc. Then they can edit and update as needed. Then I want them to be able to pick certain ones and upload them to me for the services needed. More like sending certain people something. "My customer picks the person and I send them a candy bar" type of thing (this obviously isnt what I am doing but something along these lines). I dont know how much detail I should go into since I am just starting out.

Is this a database deal or ecommerce or ecart...... I'm confused on how to go about finishing this.

A shopping cart program should handle this for you but some custom programming might still be necessary to be able to take 5 product selections and ship number 1 and 2 to A; and 1,2 and 3 to B; 5 to C; 4 and 5 to D; and so on. Most carts allow product selection first and then enable shipping to multiple people/addresses second. Paypal is fine.
