CessnaDriver -> How to Open an existing website for editing (8/1/2008 9:38:12 AM)

I am new to Front Page and have been asked to edit and update www.wholehorseriding.com. I am running Front Page 2000 and cannot seem to find a way to open the URL for editing. When I try to open the URL using "File - Open Web", I am not permitted to enter the URL in the Look-In window. I am sure there is a very simple answer to this but I can't seem to find it.

Many Thanks for any help - suggestions offered.

Try entering the site name http://horseriding.com in the bottom text box (on FP 2003 the box is labeled Site Name.)

More information: If you edit live on the web server you have no backup should things go wrong. It is safer to open the site then publish down to a folder on your computer. Then close the site on the server and open it from the folder on your computer. Do your editing on the local files then when everything is right, publish up to the web server.
