Yes you are correct. Simply adding the question: Is ice Hot or Cold to the actual form has stopped all spam since. Typically any of the forms on my sites with any type of validation do not have spam. But once in a while a robtot finds what the validation requirements are in one and then continually sends to it. The typical remedy has been to create a new validated field or select one of the previous ones and validate it. I wanted something a little more robust which this question certainly is. Not bullet proof but, has done the trick so far on the actual form. The issue, which is why this thread is that if you enter anything other than "cold" to the field the alert says "please enter cold in the field". I would simply like to find a way in FP validation to change that message to something like, "the entry is incorrect, please try again".
