tonymuffin -> Frontpage Error (6/6/2008 5:15:03 PM)

While I am asking questions in other posts regarding Email Webforms and trying to determine the direction to go I presently have an issue that is happening more and more all of a sudden.

I host numerous sites that have webforms that submit via email using FrontPage Server Extensions. Until the last 3-5 months things have always worked just dandy. However, now, more common than not when someone fills out the form and clicks submit they receive the FrontPage Error below.

Looking in the Application and System logs never indicates any issue. To rectify the issue is not straight forward but typically takes a combination of any or all of the following:
- IISRESET
- Start and Stop the individual site within IIS
- Check FrontPage Server Extensions for the particular site within IIS
- Re-calculate the site through FrontPage Server Extension Administration
- Open up the webform, make a small edit, remove the eidt and save the webform
- Publish the site via FrontPage Publish to it's backup directory

I am hoping someone can shed some light as to what is happening and perhaps a quick fix or something to check for while I investigate alternatives to sending these webforms via email without using FrontPage Server extensions.

Is the form posting to itself?

webbot-action="--WEBBOT-SELF--">

There is a known bug in the extensions.

I read the KB article: FrontPage Error Submitting Save Results Form, you linked to. As I mentioned above, there are "NO" errors in the Event logs.

The form does not say, webbot-action="--WEBBOT-SELF--">

However, it does say:

<form method="POST" action="--WEBBOT-SELF--" name="FrontPage_Form1" onsubmit="return FrontPage_Form1_Validator(this)" language="JavaScript">
<!--webbot bot="SaveResults" U-File="_private/form_results.csv" S-Format="TEXT/CSV" S-Label-Fields="TRUE" startspan B-Reverse-Chronology="FALSE" U-File="_private/form_results.html" S-Format="HTML/BR" S-Label-Fields="TRUE" B-Reverse-Chronology="FALSE" S-Email-Format="HTML/BR" S-Email-Address="johnny@elitelimos.com" B-Email-Label-Fields="TRUE" B-Email-Subject-From-Field="FALSE" S-Email-Subject="Elite Limousine Website Submission Form" S-Date-Format="%A, %B %d, %Y" S-Time-Format="%I:%M %p" S-Builtin-Fields="Date Time" S-Form-Fields="FirstName LastName PhoneNumber Email BestToContactBy BestTimeToContact BestContactTimeAM_PM EventType Vehicle_Preference Passengers EventDate PickUpTime PickUpTimeAMPM NumberOfHours Pick_Up_Address Pick_Up_City Pick_Up_ZipCode SpecialRequests OtherCommentsQuestions " U-Confirmation-Url="confirmation.html" B-Email-ReplyTo-From-Field="TRUE" S-Email-ReplyTo="Email" --><input TYPE="hidden" NAME="VTI-GROUP" VALUE="0"><!--webbot bot="SaveResults" endspan i-checksum="43374" -->

Is this the same thing you are referring to? If so, is there a way around this?
