I think (amongst other great features) one of the best things about Front Page is the form handling whereby you can send results to an html page or a database on a website without having to mess with email addresses........

Normally, especially if I needed the form handling to send to web pages, I would design a site using Front Page.

However, I have a problem because I have been asked to upgrade a website that has been written using Dreamweaver.

I have no problem with Dreamweaver and I would like to continue using it for this particular site for various reasons.

What I would like to do however is to introduce Front Page forms into the site.

Can I have a "Front Page" section with the necesary _vti_ etc files "inside" the non Front Page site?

Thanks in advance for any help with this.
Brian

The FPSE would be applied to the entire site. You can create the form in Frontpage and the publish the site but keep in mind that if they start to use Dreamweaver (which relies on FTP) then the FPSE will become corrupt sooner or later

Thanks, I see...................... I can't have FPSE running only on certain pages only.
How about if I created a "website" in Front Page that contained only the forms and published that through FP into the non FP website.
(I have my own server and can run FPSE's and ftp on the same domain)

FPSE need to be at the domain level - not per page basis. FPSE are installed extended to a domain, not pages

Ah, I see.
Thanks for all this Corey.

Agreeing with what I think Corey is saying... if this is a Dreamweaver site, it would be better to not use the FrontPage forms & server extensions.
