So, what do you think of the new FrontPage World look and feel?

Paul

Hi Paul,
Since no one else answered, I thought I would...lol. Like it; it's clean and bright, but you kept enough of the original for it to be familiar and easy to navigate.
I also wanted to thank you - I wrote PowerEdit last week in anguish because I had 'lost' my PowerEdit on this computer - and somehow you found the record of my purchase and sent me a new download with no hassle. That was exceptional customer service - thanks much!

I liked the old one better....for reviewing and ordering front page templates and add-ins.

I am finding the content of this new site a bit daunting. Been a customer for a few years for my frontpage needs, but now "everything" is here, dreamweaver, site build it, flash, animator, devices, etc. The new animator looks interesting, but do I really need it and devices too, why not just flash or swish?

Thanks for the honest comments. Consider them well heard.

We're actually going to work on an interface for viewing the templates as a slideshow - so that should help.

In terms of the Animation issues - here is how I see it

Swish - If you can handle the interface and like programming it all yourself, this is the program for you.

FrontPage-Devices.com - If want Flash but don't want to do the design work yourself, this is the project for you.

AnimatorPro.com - Animation without Flash.

Thanks for the speedy clarification - Do you ever sleep?

I'm still a newbie at this, but I'm going to try the devices. I've only done about 6 or 7 sites, and just give the cd file to my customer for them to upload. I am trying to upload one now, but Telus tells me they are not able to handle FP 2003 and all my buttons are defaulting to courier text alone. Can this really be the reason?, I have power edit and have gone through it over and over. All the layout, images, audio, slideshow are good, just the buttons are a problem. Would Meta Tags solve the problem?

Thank you!!

Meta won't solve the problem - it's a server issue.

Obviously I wasn't here for the old forum but I do like the layout and useablility. Paul was the site down last night? I had trouble getting in until this morning (Atlantic coast time). I am looking to add a forum on my site specific to broadband service Q& A could you possibly point me in the correct direction?

Thanks for any assistance you can offer!

No idea - but do a search on Google and you should do well.

G'day Paul

I have written to you twice regarding Power Edit but have not received any reply, so guess the emails got dumped or went straight back to your autoresponder.

Anyway, as this seems to be the only way I can get hold of you....

Power edit. How does this effect SEO. After all we spend countless hours optomizing the websites for the little crawlers, and then you suggest the nice easy layout should be dumped all onto one line? Doesn't this effect the very SEO we are trying to achieve?

regards.
