Spelling Dictionarys In Frontpage

Does anyone know where the custom words for frontpage are stored.

When i add to dictioanary the words do not go into my office custom dictionary but they are somewhere cos they always spell correctly on other frontpage pages.

As the FrontPage expert in my Zip code or at least at this PC, I found that when I made changes to my FP dictionary that it applied it to:
C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Proof\Custom.Dic

The file seems to be a simple text file.

(Actually, I have a DOS based program, ZtreeWin, that can log my entire HD, list all files, and sort by Date/Time)

If you are on an XP or 2K machine with more than one user that PATH will not be quite correct...

For XP and or 2K it might look something close to this...

C:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Application Data\Microsoft\Proof

Just FYI

I did find it in the user name area as i use XP.

Maybe i should suggest to microsoft that frontpage should have a dictionary option like word so you can use a common dictionary between office products.

With all the fantastic New Zealnd place names it is a pain having to add them to two dictionaries and make sure both are correct before adding each time.

You try and make sure you have spelt Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu
correctly twice!!!!!!!

And on NT4:

C:\WINNT\Profiles\[USER]\Application Data\Microsoft\Proof\Custom.Dic

So, run a Start | Find File for Custom.Dic to find your specific location.
