Would you critique my site please?

Greetings,

I would like to invite anyone whose has the time and inclination to review my website. Please post all comments on the discussion here and not through the website.

It was created originally with Yahoo site builder. They are out of the picture now.
I am currently editing it with FP 2002.

I am a newbie to this side of the business. All suggestions and comments are very welcome.

Plus, is it worth upgrading to Microsoft’s new software? Is it user friendly?

Thank you,

Has some errors that need fixing
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.forensicjet.com%2F&ss=1&outline=1

<!--$sitebuilder version="2.4" extra="Java(1.5.0_02)" md5="cb747216bae0d0b2b1aa5edf139dd497"$-->
<!--$templateKey E-commerce|High Tech - Blue Brown|2.0$-->

This pluse all the rest of the comments in the head should be removed ... you need a doctype (this tells the browser what the code is based on)

All your formatting should be in a external style sheet instead of embedded and inline this would help with maintainance.

.... and you need a text based menu and content on the homepage ... when graphics are turned off you have no content ... no good for seo (search engine optimisation) the search engines won't find you much.

Yes moving to expression web will help ... it will help you maintaiance wise you could use a dwt (dynamic web template) help with the formatting (site needs a good code clean) and you do need to get some content that can be seen by search engines and alternative menu ... as it is no one blind can 'see' your site with a screen reader...

looks wise its ok ...a little busy though... it would help to have the menu text not centered ..we read left to right ....centering text distorts this for us. I cannot see a sitemap ...another essential.

I'm new too, and not as good as you, yet, technically. But I do know a little about marketing. Your site is on the right level for your target reader. A bit abstruse for us lay people but that's the nature of your science, not your site. I wonder if everything should be "up-front"? Could you create sub-menus/nested menus on other pages to present a 'cleaner' home page?
But I like what you have done.
I would love to know how people like you learn how to use FP effectively.
