Frontpage 2003 - License Question

Hello

I'm rather new to this forum. And I wasn't sure where to fit in a Question about the Frontpage 2003 License. I searched about an Hour at the Official Microsoft Forums, websites and could not find the solution to my problem.

If this might violate the Forum Rules feel free to move / delete this message.

Okay, my problem is this. I am a starting webdesigner for a Company. I used for ages Frontpage 2003 and I don't have the time to learn any new programs like Dreamweaver or follow up's from Frontpage.

I lost my original copy of Frontpage 2003. And I wanted to buy it again. I want to do legally my job. The fact is, I can't seem to find a shop that sells a Frontpage 2003 Official Legal Version. So I got a copy from a collegue.

Is this Copy Legal to use at a Company or is that Illegal to use Copies where you don't own the license for? And if it's illegal, where can I get a legal one? Does Microsoft sells their "old" products somewhere?

I hope some of you can help me out.

Kind Regards

Sincerely

It is illegal to use an unlicensed copy of any software in a company environment. You put your company at a financial risk and put your own job in jeopardy. Microsoft does not sell or support this product any longer. You may still find the software for sale from some on-line vendors. Google around.

I believe you can still buy new, legal copies of FrontPage 2003 on eBay.

If you work for a qualifying non-profit, they can still order it for you at a greatly reduced price through the Microsoft Donation Program.

Depending on how you constructed your site, you may find the transition to Expression Web 2 quite easy.
