Frontpage 2000 - Upload issue

Hi folks - Complete novice here

I am trying to upload my website (which I have successfully done for about 6 years now) and frontpage will not let me go beyond username/password when I hit the publish button. I have contacted my hosting company and they assure me that the problem is at my end as the password box bounces back instantaneously and everything is functioning as it should at their end.

They tell me that I may have a firewall problem, but I have tried disabling the firewall to no avail. I'm running Vista Business by the way.

I have also re-installed server extensions etc. Even reloaded Frontpage.

The main issue that I am now faced with is that when viewed via a browser my website is now incomplete in that it has no borders. Please view at: www.lakesidesom.co.uk

As can be seen I am an independant driving instructor and rely heavily on my site.

If you reinstalled the extensions it should have reset the username and password.

Did you change anything on your computer around the time the password stopped working (udated antivirus, firewall, ad-blockers, popup blockers, new router, new ISP, Internet security level, etc?)

Hi Rick

I did add RegCure and possibly update one of my antivirus packages, however I did think of this and carried out a system restore to an earlier date. This had no effect.

Do you reccommend that I delete them all for now or can I try something else?

Many thanks for your help so far. Boy I'm lost without my site.

I'm sorry but not knowing your system and/or what you did, I can't offer any specific advise. Maybe someone else has more ideas.
