FrontPage layers

I want to make changes to the content of an art gallery I have inserted into layer 1, which overlays an image inserted into a table on another layer. Here's the problem: every time I click or double click or right click on the gallery it (the entire gallery layer) drops out of sight behind the table and offers no options concerning layer 1. What can I do to freeze layer order, or overcome the problem in some other way?

RE: FrontPage layers (in reply to kaisart

Set the z-index of each layer.
In this way you can "stack" layers.
z-index:1 is on the bottom of the stack--
z-index:2 is on top of z-index:1.
z-index:3 is on top of both z-index:1 and z-index:2, and so on.
