Backround colour

Hey all , I'm really new to Frontpage so i need help with how i set this:
.fw-odd {color:#999999; background-color:#000000; border-color:#999999;}
.fw-even {color:#999999; background-color:#262626; border-color:#999999;}
.fw-primary {background-color:#db993b; border-color:#262626;}
.fw-secondary {color:#999999; background-color:#353535; border-color:#262626;}

as background , its black on the top wich slowly fades to light gray in the bottom.
Or if i could get help with loading a css file script to use as backround?

Would really apreciate some help with this.
So major issue : Get Backround colour from Dark Black at the top to light gray in the bottom and it should fade not just half , half.

How to Stop Background Images from Repeating will help you with the CSS part as well.

We still need some more information - how are you calling the CSS in the <body>? Are you using <div>? There is just a bit more information that is needed to help us help you.

RE: Backround colour (in reply to JonathanO

you got plent of help but you seem to be having trouble explaining what you want.

you make an image say 10 px wide and as long as required that has the gradient that you want in it and then specify that image as background on the body (set it to repeat horizontally)

see http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_background.asp
